The Field Dress

 The Field Dress was designed to be a versatile, comfy everyday dress!

The Field Dress features an oversized bodice that isn't super short or super long. It should sit right around the smallest part of your waist, making it perfect for early pregnancy and postpartum. The bodice has bust darts, so that even though it's oversized, it doesn't feel boxy.  The round neckline is finished with a facing for a clean non top stitched look. The sleeves are oversized and finished with a gathered hem and a little key-hole finished with a button and elasticated band to make the arm opening slightly stretchy. The gathered skirt is rectangle shaped and has pockets hidden in the side seams. I've included two attached waist ties sewn into the side seams to that you can choose to tie the bodice up tight or to loosely tie it in the back for an oversized, but not boxy look. This dress is breastfeeding friendly with your choice of fastener. 

  Earthen Threads Co. garments will be lovingly sent home with easy to follow care instructions so that your new items will last forever! I highly recommend washing on low/medium heat and air drying or machine drying on cool to prevent a ton of shrinkage and wrinkling. Truthfully, I recommend doing this for even your non-natural fabric clothing because it will lead to a longer lifespan of all your clothes! I do work in a teensy bit of shrinkage into every garment, so don't fret if you feel like it's a tad too large when you first try it on. Give it a wash and it should be perfect!
